Does bring a smile to one's face... has this got anything to do with European or American companies and their Asian/African mergers??
i like the cover page.actually, its both funny and quite suggestive.I dont know if the colors of the camels also have some hidden meanings.I would want to read the magazine and find out why was the image used and also, for what issue was it used..goes well with the title.
I agree with the previous comment. Very curious to know whether the difference in colour is of significance or not. Apart from that, it is so well done and it fits in sooo well with the title that i dont think anyone would be able to resist a smile.
the cover page is funny , something that projects a humurous side to a serious magazine like the economist. it makes perfect sense when it talks about the merger issues. i think as shilpa mentioned the colours may be a subtle indication of race and ethnicity playing a big role in the mergers. i do not know the country or region about which actually the issue is based on but i feel that it maybe pointing out to the regions to which the camel is a native. but yea it certainly does have the power to capture the attention of people, even those who may not be a regular economist reader .
